Joan Gavornik and her Living Dolls
Surrounded by her extensive collection of custom made dolls, New Jersey based artist Joan Gavornik works in her third floor attic studio. To create a doll for you all Joan needs is a color head shot and a full body photo to assist her in completing your personally accessorized doll.
Working as a professional musician, singer and recording artist, Joan has been a part of the tri-state area rock scene for many years. In her travels, the mystique of the New Hope/Bucks County area inspired her next creative venture into doll making.

Recently Joan was commissioned by Austin, Texas guitar virtuoso Jim Stringer, to create a cover for the Jim Stringer and the AM Band CD project, "On The Radio." Another project brought her out to Los Angeles, California to present a doll to talk show host Jay Leno of the renowned "Tonight Show."
Joan would like to announce two new additions to her "Living Dolls" collection; dolls in the likeness of Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night of "Blackmore's Night", another evolution in the musical development of Richie Blackmore, one of progressive rock's most innovative guitarists. "Blackmore's Night" gives a new twist to the phrase "travelling minstrels." Joined by Candice Night and ensemble, they tour the world performing a unique fusion of renaissance, early music, and good old rock and roll. Recording 8 CD's in Europe and the US, Joan became involved with "Blackmore's Night" as a street team organizer for parts of the east coast, working hard to help the band establish themselves in the US. The music and charm of the group inspired Joan to create 2 new dolls presented to Candice at the December 2005 concert in Collingswood, NJ.
